My Hometown Has It's Share...

Recently the Gloversville City council, decided to not reappoint our City Clerk of 16 years. This in and of itself really isn't big news. What is the news however was how it was brought about. Four of the council members, decided, outside of the regular meeting or executive session of the council meetings to not re-appoint the City Clerk. It was all done but what I call back channels. telephone calls. Not in an open council meeting nor in executive session. Seems to me some of the council has little respect for their fellow citizens. And as such, I will show no respect for them.

Read the Editorial from the Leader Herald, our local paper, here. I would have to say I group this kind of behavior with the same kind our administration in Washington D.C. seems to be showing us. I'm sickened by the contempt these 4 members seem to have for my fellow citizens.

All I can hope for, is that the ethics committee, recently charged with discovering what is going on, finds them culpable for their actions and that they receive what the so richly deserve! A pink slip, with the follow written on the back...

"Don't let the door hit ya' in the ass on the way out!"

Something Smells Good!

WOW! What a day outside! Nearly 60 Degrees and a nice breeze outside. Plus someone is cooking something that smells terrific!

And here is a picture from my window. Granted it's not a sunny bright day, but it's nicer then having 3 feet of snow and almost 0 degree weather. No such thing as Global Warming? HA! Bullshit! It's January and 60 degrees. Yeah. No such thing as Global Warming.

Feels more like spring then winter.
