I know it's been out a while, but hey, I LOVE THIS FRACKIN' SHOW!! Sliders is the story of a group of four people who travel from one parallel Earth to another, trying to find their way back to their own Earth. Along the way, they find worlds similar to ours but whose histories diverged from our own at some point in the past. Quinn Mallory, played by Jerry O'Connell (Stand By Me, Crossing Jordan) is a genius who creates the device that lets them "slide" between universes. Professor Maximilian Arturo played by John Rhys-Davies (Raider of The Lost Ark, and a whole freakin bunch more) is Quinn's college physics professor who sees Quinn as a genius far beyond his own, but lacks responsibility. Rembrandt 'Crying Man' Brown, played by Cleavant Derricks (Ah just look him up already!), is a washed up singer from the 60's and 70's getting ready to make his big comeback, when he gets pulled into the adventure, and then there is Wade Welles played by Sabrina Llyod (Do I have to say it again?) , who has a crush on Quinn and is his co-worker at an electronics store. Through a miscalculation, Quin opens a portal and pulls in everyone and the adventure begins.

The cool part about this show that I loved was the infinate world they could visit. Apocolyse world, Western World, Soviet World, Stone Age world. I guess not many people got the whole concept as it was greeted with some low ratings. And After one of the major characters was killed off, it just kinda went downhill from there. And when Jerry left the show, that's when it just shit the bed.

Needless to say, I plan on getting the series for my collection. The only thing thogh is, They never really tied up all the strings in the series finale. So here's to hoping Tracy Torme' (Producer) gets around to fixing that.
